Joe grew up in Shawnee and is a 1999 graduate of Shawnee High School. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in May of 2003. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Law in May of 2006, where he was a class representative, on the Dean’s Council, and a member of the SBA Board of Governors. Joe was admitted to practice law before all Oklahoma state courts in September of 2006.

Joe’s practice is focused on general civil and commercial litigation, corporate law, alternative dispute resolution, and municipal law. He is licensed to practice in the Oklahoma State Courts and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

Joe has served as Chairperson of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, on the OBA Board of Governor’s, the Board of Editors for the Oklahoma Bar Journal, and as a Board Member of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation.  In 2008, Joe received the District 5 Child Abuse Prevention Task Force “Child Advocate of the Year” Award. In 2013 Joe received an OBA President’s Award, and in 2014 the OBA Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.   Joe has served on numerous other community and professional Boards, including as Chairman of Shawnee Forward.

Joe is married to Carissa (Dies) Vorndran. The Vorndrans live in Shawnee with their sons, Jude and Conner and daughter Audrey.
