Michael D. Clover is a partner with Stuart & Clover PLLC.

Mike grew up in Eufaula and is a graduate of Eufaula High School.  He attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College and received his bachelor of arts degree from Central State University. He received his juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University. During law school and after graduation from Oklahoma City, he worked as a licensed legal intern and an assistant district attorney in the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office. After leaving the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office Mike worked as an associate attorney in the West Law Firm in Shawnee. Mike left the West Law Firm for an associate attorney’s position with Diamond Adcock and Stuart, which resulted in a partnership and then the evolvement into this Firm.

Mike’s practice areas include all aspects of real property law including, oil and gas transactional work, title examinations, representation of developers, lenders, contractors and others involved in the real estate industry, litigation issues such as quiet title proceedings, partition actions, boundary line disputes, plat and street vacations, foreclosure actions and preparation of and interpretation of easement and right of way instruments.

Mike also focuses on banking law, including representation of banks in preparing loan documents, conducting commercial litigation and foreclosures, and interpreting and understanding the Uniform Commercial Code. Additionally, he has extensive experience in representing his clients in all aspects of estate planning, including the preparation of wills and trusts.

Mike also has a large probate practice and corporate formation and representation, and a variety of civil litigation. Mike is licensed to practice in all Oklahoma State and Federal Courts.

Mike is active in several local civic and service organizations, including Past President of the Shawnee YMCA, Downtown Shawnee Board Member, Shawnee Kiwanis Club Past President and Board member, and the Pottawatomie County Bar Association.

Mike is married to Terri (Lyday) Clover, and they reside in Shawnee.
