Josh Pumphrey, Associate

"I love discovering creative ways to overcome any obstacle I come across."

Josh moved to Shawnee for college in 2015 and has lived here for all but one year since. After graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University and marrying his wife, Anna, in 2019, he worked in higher education for three years before starting law school at the University of Oklahoma in August 2022. While at OU, Josh was awarded the American Jurisprudence award in AI & The Practice of Law, while also being involved in Christian Legal Society, the First-Generation Law Student Association, and the American Indian Law Review. As a member of the American Indian Law Review, Josh served as an Assistant Executive Editor and had his work selected by the members of the journal to be published in the Spring 2025 Edition of the journal. He is now excited to take his experience and education and put it to use for the community he has come to call home.
