Tyler Speir, Associate
“That our laws control our built environment, from the homes we live in to the bridges we drive over is an underappreciated aspect of life. Law is more than the rules we live by, it is the very foundation of our physical experience.”
Oklahoma born and bred, Tyler graduated from Okemah High School in 2021 before earning his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Oklahoma in 2023. Tyler also attended law school and graduate school at the OU, graduating with his J.D. and master’s in regional and city planning in 2025.
While in law school, Tyler was an active member of the American Constitution Society and the Native American Law Students Association. During this time, he also worked as a judicial clerk for the Muscogee Nation District Court under the honorable Judge Denette Mouser and worked with the Muscogee Nation Planning Department to draft policy and legal strategies for economic development and housing opportunities within the Reservation of the Muscogee Nation. Now, Tyler is focused on real property and municipal law and is working towards building a land use practice within the firm to serve Shawnee and the surrounding areas.
